Arshia is trained as a computer engineer and worked at IBM. Then he became a well-known technology lawyer, a business and intellectual property lawyer in one, formerly at the renowned Silicon Valley law firm of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. After over 15 years as a lawyer and angel investor, he founded Vidoyen, a social video platform for credited experts providing a library of 2-minute videos worth watching to user questions. He is also a writer and a poet, published several books including "Sea of Snow".

He passed away in 2017.
